അവര് പറഞ്ഞു: ഹേ, ജാലവിദ്യക്കാരാ! താങ്കളുമായി താങ്കളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവ് കരാര് ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ളതനുസരിച്ച് ഞങ്ങള്ക്ക് വേണ്ടി താങ്കള് അവനോട് പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കുക. തീര്ച്ചയായും ഞങ്ങള് നേര്മാര്ഗം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നവര് തന്നെയാകുന്നു.(49)
(49) وَقَالُوا يَا أَيُّهَ السَّاحِرُ ادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ بِمَا عَهِدَ عِنْدَكَ إِنَّنَا لَمُهْتَدُونَ
And they said [to Musa (Moses)]: "O you sorcerer! Invoke your Lord for us according to what He has covenanted with you. Verily, We shall guide ourselves (aright)."(49)
