മനുഷ്യരുടെ കൈകള് പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചത് നിമിത്തം കരയിലും കടലിലും കുഴപ്പം വെളിപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. അവര് പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചതില് ചിലതിന്റെ ഫലം അവര്ക്ക് ആസ്വദിപ്പിക്കുവാന് വേണ്ടിയത്രെ അത്. അവര് ഒരു വേള മടങ്ങിയേക്കാം.(41)
(41) ظَهَرَ الْفَسَادُ فِي الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ أَيْدِي النَّاسِ لِيُذِيقَهُمْ بَعْضَ الَّذِي عَمِلُوا لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ
Evil (sins and disobedience of Allah, etc.) has appeared on land and sea because of what the hands of men have earned (by oppression and evil deeds, etc.), that Allah may make them taste a part of that which they have done, in order that they may return (by repenting to Allah, and begging His Pardon).(41)
