അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, നീ എനിക്ക് അനുഗ്രഹം നല്കിയിട്ടുള്ളതു കൊണ്ട് ഇനി ഒരിക്കലും ഞാന് കുറ്റവാളികള്ക്കു സഹായം നല്കുന്നവനാവുകയില്ല.(17)
(17) قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَا أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ فَلَنْ أَكُونَ ظَهِيرًا لِلْمُجْرِمِينَ
He said: "My Lord! For that with which You have favoured me, I will never more be a helper for the Mujrimun (criminals, disobedient to Allah, polytheists, sinners, etc.)!"(17)
