അനന്തരം സന്തോഷവാര്ത്ത അറിയിക്കുന്ന ആള് വന്നപ്പോള് അയാള് ആ കുപ്പായം അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ മുഖത്ത് വെച്ച് കൊടുത്തു. അപ്പോള് അദ്ദേഹം കാഴ്ചയുള്ളവനായി മാറി. അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: നിങ്ങള്ക്കറിഞ്ഞുകൂടാത്ത ചിലത് അല്ലാഹുവിങ്കല് നിന്ന് ഞാന് അറിയുന്നുണ്ട് എന്ന് ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോട് പറഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ലേ.(96)
(96) فَلَمَّا أَنْ جَاءَ الْبَشِيرُ أَلْقَاهُ عَلَىٰ وَجْهِهِ فَارْتَدَّ بَصِيرًا ۖ قَالَ أَلَمْ أَقُلْ لَكُمْ إِنِّي أَعْلَمُ مِنَ اللَّهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
Then, when the bearer of the glad tidings arrived, he cast it (the shirt) over his face, and he became clear-sighted. He said: "Did I not say to you, 'I know from Allah that which you know not. (96)
