അക്ഷരജ്ഞാനമില്ലാത്ത ചില ആളുകളും അവരില് (ഇസ്രായീല്യരില്) ഉണ്ട്. ചില വ്യാമോഹങ്ങള് വെച്ച് പുലര്ത്തുന്നതല്ലാതെ വേദ ഗ്രന്ഥത്തെപ്പറ്റി അവര്ക്ക് ഒന്നുമറിയില്ല. അവര് ഊഹത്തെ അവലംബമാക്കുക മാത്രമാണ് ചെയ്യുന്നത്.(78)
(78) وَمِنْهُمْ أُمِّيُّونَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ الْكِتَابَ إِلَّا أَمَانِيَّ وَإِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا يَظُنُّونَ
And there are among them (Jews) unlettered people, who know not the Book, but they trust upon false desires and they but guess.(78)
