(സത്യവിശ്വാസികളേ), നിങ്ങളെ അവര് (യഹൂദര്) വിശ്വസിക്കുമെന്ന് നിങ്ങള് മോഹിക്കുകയാണോ? അവരില് ഒരു വിഭാഗം അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ വചനങ്ങള് കേള്ക്കുകയും, അത് ശരിക്കും മനസ്സിലാക്കിയതിന് ശേഷം ബോധപൂര്വ്വം തന്നെ അതില് കൃത്രിമം കാണിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുകയുമാണല്ലോ.(75)
(75) ۞ أَفَتَطْمَعُونَ أَنْ يُؤْمِنُوا لَكُمْ وَقَدْ كَانَ فَرِيقٌ مِنْهُمْ يَسْمَعُونَ كَلَامَ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ يُحَرِّفُونَهُ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا عَقَلُوهُ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ
Do you (faithful believers) covet that they will believe in your religion inspite of the fact that a party of them (Jewish rabbis) used to hear the Word of Allah [the Taurat (Torah)], then they used to change it knowingly after they understood it?(75)
