അവര് കണ്ടില്ലേ; അവര്ക്ക് മുമ്പ് നാം എത്ര തലമുറകളെ നശിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടെന്ന്? നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് നാം ചെയ്ത് തന്നിട്ടില്ലാത്ത സൌകര്യം ഭൂമിയില് അവര്ക്ക് നാം ചെയ്ത് കൊടുത്തിരുന്നു. നാം അവര്ക്ക് ധാരാളമായി മഴ വര്ഷിപ്പിച്ച് കൊടുക്കുകയും, അവരുടെ താഴ്ഭാഗത്ത് കൂടി നദികള് ഒഴുക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. എന്നിട്ട് അവരുടെ പാപങ്ങള് കാരണം നാം അവരെ നശിപ്പിക്കുകയും, അവര്ക്ക് ശേഷം നാം വേറെ തലമുറകളെ ഉണ്ടാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.(6)
(6) أَلَمْ يَرَوْا كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ مِنْ قَرْنٍ مَكَّنَّاهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ مَا لَمْ نُمَكِّنْ لَكُمْ وَأَرْسَلْنَا السَّمَاءَ عَلَيْهِمْ مِدْرَارًا وَجَعَلْنَا الْأَنْهَارَ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهِمْ فَأَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ بِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَأَنْشَأْنَا مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ قَرْنًا آخَرِينَ
Have they not seen how many a generation before them We have destroyed whom We had established on the earth such as We have not established you? And We poured out on them rain from the sky in abundance, and made the rivers flow under them. Yet We destroyed them for their sins, and created after them other generations.(6)
