അവര് (സാക്ഷികള്) മുറപോലെ സാക്ഷ്യം വഹിക്കുന്നതിന് അതാണ് കൂടുതല് അനുയോജ്യമായിട്ടുള്ളത്. തങ്ങള് സത്യം ചെയ്തതിന് ശേഷം (അനന്തരാവകാശികള്ക്ക്) സത്യം ചെയ്യാന് അവസരം നല്കപ്പെടുമെന്ന് അവര്ക്ക് (സാക്ഷികള്ക്ക്) പേടിയുണ്ടാകുവാനും (അതാണ് കൂടുതല് ഉപകരിക്കുക.) നിങ്ങള് അല്ലാഹുവെ സൂക്ഷിക്കുകയും (അവന്റെ കല്പനകള്) ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക. ധിക്കാരികളായ ആളുകളെ അല്ലാഹു നേര്വഴിയിലാക്കുകയില്ല.(108)
(108) ذَٰلِكَ أَدْنَىٰ أَنْ يَأْتُوا بِالشَّهَادَةِ عَلَىٰ وَجْهِهَا أَوْ يَخَافُوا أَنْ تُرَدَّ أَيْمَانٌ بَعْدَ أَيْمَانِهِمْ ۗ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَاسْمَعُوا ۗ وَاللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْفَاسِقِينَ
That should make it closer (to the fact) that their testimony would be in its true nature and shape (and thus accepted), or else they would fear that (other) oaths would be admitted after their oaths. And fear Allah and listen (with obedience to Him). And Allah guides not the people who are Al-Fasiqun (the rebellious and disobedient).(108)
