(അന്ന്) സത്യവിശ്വാസികള് പറയും; ഞങ്ങള് നിങ്ങളുടെ കൂടെത്തന്നെയാണ്, എന്ന് അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ പേരില് ബലമായി സത്യം ചെയ്ത് പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നവര് ഇക്കൂട്ടര് തന്നെയാണോ? എന്ന്. അവരുടെ കര്മ്മങ്ങള് നിഷ്ഫലമാകുകയും, അങ്ങനെ അവര് നഷ്ടക്കാരായി മാറുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.(53)
(53) وَيَقُولُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَهَٰؤُلَاءِ الَّذِينَ أَقْسَمُوا بِاللَّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَانِهِمْ ۙ إِنَّهُمْ لَمَعَكُمْ ۚ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ فَأَصْبَحُوا خَاسِرِينَ
And those who believe will say: "Are these the men (hypocrites) who swore their strongest oaths by Allah that they were with you (Muslims)?" All that they did has been in vain (because of their hypocrisy), and they have become the losers.(53)
