അല്ലാഹു അവതരിപ്പിച്ചതനുസരിച്ച്‌ അവര്‍ക്കിടയില്‍ നീ വിധികല്‍പിക്കുകയും, അവരുടെ തന്നിഷ്ടങ്ങളെ പിന്‍പറ്റാതിരിക്കുകയും, അല്ലാഹു നിനക്ക്‌ അവതരിപ്പിച്ച്‌ തന്ന വല്ല നിര്‍ദേശത്തില്‍ നിന്നും അവര്‍ നിന്നെ തെറ്റിച്ചുകളയുന്നതിനെപ്പറ്റി നീ ജാഗ്രത പുലര്‍ത്തുകയും ചെയ്യണമെന്നും (നാം കല്‍പിക്കുന്നു.) ഇനി അവര്‍ പിന്തിരിഞ്ഞ്‌ കളയുകയാണെങ്കില്‍ നീ മനസ്സിലാക്കണം; അവരുടെ ചില പാപങ്ങള്‍ കാരണമായി അവര്‍ക്ക്‌ നാശം വരുത്തണമെന്നാണ്‌ അല്ലാഹു ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നതെന്ന്‌. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും മനുഷ്യരില്‍ അധികപേരും ധിക്കാരികളാകുന്നു.(49)
(49) وَأَنِ احْكُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ بِمَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءَهُمْ وَاحْذَرْهُمْ أَنْ يَفْتِنُوكَ عَنْ بَعْضِ مَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ إِلَيْكَ ۖ فَإِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَاعْلَمْ أَنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ أَنْ يُصِيبَهُمْ بِبَعْضِ ذُنُوبِهِمْ ۗ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِنَ النَّاسِ لَفَاسِقُونَ
And so judge (you O Muhammad SAW) between them by what Allah has revealed and follow not their vain desires, but beware of them lest they turn you (O Muhammad SAW) far away from some of that which Allah has sent down to you. And if they turn away, then know that Allah's Will is to punish them for some sins of theirs. And truly, most of men are Fasiqun (rebellious and disobedient to Allah).(49)
