ഭൂമിയില് വെച്ച് അല്ലാഹുവെ ഞങ്ങള്ക്ക് തോല്പിക്കാനാവില്ല എന്നും, ഓടി മാറിക്കളഞ്ഞിട്ട് അവനെ തോല്പിക്കാനാവില്ലെന്നും ഞങ്ങള് ധരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു(12)
(12) وَأَنَّا ظَنَنَّا أَنْ لَنْ نُعْجِزَ اللَّهَ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَنْ نُعْجِزَهُ هَرَبًا
'And we think that we cannot escape (from the punishment of) Allah in the earth, nor can we escape (from the punishment) by flight.(12)
