മുമ്പ് അവിശ്വസിച്ചവരുടെ വൃത്താന്തം നിങ്ങള്ക്കു വന്നുകിട്ടിയിട്ടില്ലേ? അങ്ങനെ അവരുടെ നിലപാടിന്റെ ഭവിഷ്യത്ത് അവര് അനുഭവിച്ചു. അവര്ക്കു (പരലോകത്ത്) വേദനയേറിയ ശിക്ഷയുമുണ്ട്.(5)
(5) أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَبَأُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ قَبْلُ فَذَاقُوا وَبَالَ أَمْرِهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
Has not the news reached you of those who disbelieved aforetime? And so they tasted the evil result of their disbelief, and theirs will be a painful torment.(5)
