ഇവരുടെ മുമ്പ് നൂഹിന്റെ ജനതയും റസ്സുകാരും, ഥമൂദ് സമുദായവും സത്യം നിഷേധിക്കുകയുണ്ടായി.(12)
(12) كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ وَأَصْحَابُ الرَّسِّ وَثَمُودُ
Denied before them (i.e. these pagans of Makkah who denied you, O Muhammad SAW) the people of Nuh (Noah), and the dwellers of Rass, and the Thamud,(12)
