സത്യവിശ്വാസികള് പറയും: ഒരു സൂറത്ത് അവതരിപ്പിക്കപ്പെടാത്തതെന്താണ്? എന്നാല് ഖണ്ഡിതമായ നിയമങ്ങളുള്ള ഒരു സൂറത്ത് അവതരിപ്പിക്കപ്പെടുകയും അതില് യുദ്ധത്തെപ്പറ്റി പ്രസ്താവിക്കപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്താല് ഹൃദയങ്ങളില് രോഗമുള്ളവര്, മരണം ആസന്നമായതിനാല് ബോധരഹിതനായ ആള് നോക്കുന്നത് പോലെ നിന്റെ നേര്ക്ക് നോക്കുന്നതായി കാണാം. എന്നാല് അവര്ക്ക് ഏറ്റവും അനുയോജ്യമായത് തന്നെയാണത്.(20)
(20) وَيَقُولُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَوْلَا نُزِّلَتْ سُورَةٌ ۖ فَإِذَا أُنْزِلَتْ سُورَةٌ مُحْكَمَةٌ وَذُكِرَ فِيهَا الْقِتَالُ ۙ رَأَيْتَ الَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ مَرَضٌ يَنْظُرُونَ إِلَيْكَ نَظَرَ الْمَغْشِيِّ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْمَوْتِ ۖ فَأَوْلَىٰ لَهُمْ
Those who believe say: "Why is not a Surah (chapter of the Quran) sent down (for us)? But when a decisive Surah (explaining and ordering things) is sent down, and fighting (Jihad - holy fighting in Allah's Cause) is mentioned (i.e. ordained) therein, you will see those in whose hearts is a disease (of hypocrisy) looking at you with a look of one fainting to death. But it was better for them (hypocrites, to listen to Allah and to obey Him).(20)
