അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ ഉത്തരവനുസരിച്ചല്ലാതെ ഒരാള്ക്കും മരിക്കാനൊക്കുകയില്ല. അവധി കുറിക്കപ്പെട്ട ഒരു വിധിയാണത്. ആരെങ്കിലും ഇഹലോകത്തെ പ്രതിഫലമണ് ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നതെങ്കില് അവന്ന് ഇവിടെ നിന്ന് നാം നല്കും. ആരെങ്കിലും പരലോകത്തെ പ്രതിഫലമാണ് ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നതെങ്കില് അവന്ന് നാം അവിടെ നിന്ന് നല്കും. നന്ദികാണിക്കുന്നവര്ക്ക് നാം തക്കതായ പ്രതിഫലം നല്കുന്നതാണ്.(145)
(145) وَمَا كَانَ لِنَفْسٍ أَنْ تَمُوتَ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ كِتَابًا مُؤَجَّلًا ۗ وَمَنْ يُرِدْ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا نُؤْتِهِ مِنْهَا وَمَنْ يُرِدْ ثَوَابَ الْآخِرَةِ نُؤْتِهِ مِنْهَا ۚ وَسَنَجْزِي الشَّاكِرِينَ
And no person can ever die except by Allah's Leave and at an appointed term. And whoever desires a reward in (this) world, We shall give him of it; and whoever desires a reward in the Hereafter, We shall give him thereof. And We shall reward the grateful(145)
