അവനു പുറമെ വല്ല ദൈവങ്ങളേയും ഞാന് സ്വീകരിക്കുകയോ? പരമകാരുണികന് എനിക്ക് വല്ല ദോഷവും വരുത്താന് ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്ന പക്ഷം അവരുടെ ശുപാര്ശ എനിക്ക് യാതൊരു പ്രയോജനവും ചെയ്യുകയില്ല. അവര് എന്നെ രക്ഷപ്പെടുത്തുകയുമില്ല.(23)
(23) أَأَتَّخِذُ مِنْ دُونِهِ آلِهَةً إِنْ يُرِدْنِ الرَّحْمَٰنُ بِضُرٍّ لَا تُغْنِ عَنِّي شَفَاعَتُهُمْ شَيْئًا وَلَا يُنْقِذُونِ
"Shall I take besides Him aliha (gods), if the Most Beneficent (Allah) intends me any harm, their intercession will be of no use for me whatsoever, nor can they save me?(23)
