ഇബ്രാഹീം യഹൂദനോ ക്രിസ്ത്യനോ ആയിരുന്നില്ല. എന്നാല് അദ്ദേഹം ശുദ്ധമനസ്ഥിതിക്കാരനും (അല്ലാഹുവിന്ന്) കീഴ്പെട്ടവനും ആയിരുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹം ബഹുദൈവാരാധകരില്പെട്ടവനായിരുന്നിട്ടുമില്ല.(67)
(67) مَا كَانَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ يَهُودِيًّا وَلَا نَصْرَانِيًّا وَلَٰكِنْ كَانَ حَنِيفًا مُسْلِمًا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ
Ibrahim (Abraham) was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was a true Muslim Hanifa (Islamic Monotheism - to worship none but Allah Alone) and he was not of Al-Mushrikun (See V. 2:105).(67)
