അങ്ങനെ അവന് ജനമദ്ധ്യത്തിലേക്ക് ആര്ഭാടത്തോടെ ഇറങ്ങി പുറപ്പെട്ടു. ഐഹികജീവിതം ലക്ഷ്യമാക്കുന്നവര് അത് കണ്ടിട്ട് ഇപ്രകാരം പറഞ്ഞു: ഖാറൂന് ലഭിച്ചത് പോലുള്ളത് ഞങ്ങള്ക്കുമുണ്ടായിരുന്നെങ്കില് എത്ര നന്നായിരുന്നേനെ. തീര്ച്ചയായും അവന് വലിയ ഭാഗ്യമുള്ളവന് തന്നെ!(79)
(79) فَخَرَجَ عَلَىٰ قَوْمِهِ فِي زِينَتِهِ ۖ قَالَ الَّذِينَ يُرِيدُونَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا يَا لَيْتَ لَنَا مِثْلَ مَا أُوتِيَ قَارُونُ إِنَّهُ لَذُو حَظٍّ عَظِيمٍ
So he went forth before his people in his pomp. Those who were desirous of the life of the world, said: "Ah, would that we had the like of what Qarun (Korah) has been given? Verily! He is the owner of a great fortune."(79)
