വ്യര്ത്ഥമായ വാക്കുകള് അവര് കേട്ടാല് അതില് നിന്നവര് തിരിഞ്ഞുകളയുകയും ഇപ്രകാരം പറയുകയും ചെയ്യും: ഞങ്ങള്ക്കുള്ളത് ഞങ്ങളുടെ കര്മ്മങ്ങളാണ്. നിങ്ങള്ക്കുള്ളത് നിങ്ങളുടെ കര്മ്മങ്ങളും. നിങ്ങള്ക്കു സലാം. മൂഢന്മാരെ ഞങ്ങള്ക്ക് ആാവശ്യമില്ല.(55)
(55) وَإِذَا سَمِعُوا اللَّغْوَ أَعْرَضُوا عَنْهُ وَقَالُوا لَنَا أَعْمَالُنَا وَلَكُمْ أَعْمَالُكُمْ سَلَامٌ عَلَيْكُمْ لَا نَبْتَغِي الْجَاهِلِينَ
And when they hear Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk), they withdraw from it and say: "To us our deeds, and to you your deeds. Peace be to you. We seek not the ignorant."(55)
