ഇംറാന്റെ ഭാര്യ പറഞ്ഞ സന്ദര്ഭം (ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക:) എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, എന്റെ വയറ്റിലുള്ള കുഞ്ഞിനെ നിനക്കായ് ഉഴിഞ്ഞുവെക്കാന് ഞാന് നേര്ച്ച നേര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്നു. ആകയാല് എന്നില് നിന്ന് നീ അത് സ്വീകരിക്കേണമേ. തീര്ച്ചയായും നീ (എല്ലാം) കേള്ക്കുന്നവനും അറിയുന്നവനുമത്രെ.(35)
(35) إِذْ قَالَتِ امْرَأَتُ عِمْرَانَ رَبِّ إِنِّي نَذَرْتُ لَكَ مَا فِي بَطْنِي مُحَرَّرًا فَتَقَبَّلْ مِنِّي ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
(Remember) when the wife of 'Imran said: "O my Lord! I have vowed to You what (the child that) is in my womb to be dedicated for Your services (free from all worldly work; to serve Your Place of worship), so accept this, from me. Verily, You are the All-Hearer, the All-Knowing."(35)
