അപ്പോള് തങ്ങളുടെ കയറുകളും വടികളും അവര് ഇട്ടു അവര് പറയുകയും ചെയ്തു: ഫിര്ഔന്റെ പ്രതാപം തന്നെയാണ സത്യം! തീര്ച്ചയായും ഞങ്ങള് തന്നെയായിരിക്കും വിജയികള്(44)
(44) فَأَلْقَوْا حِبَالَهُمْ وَعِصِيَّهُمْ وَقَالُوا بِعِزَّةِ فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّا لَنَحْنُ الْغَالِبُونَ
So they threw their ropes and their sticks, and said: "By the might of Fir'aun (Pharaoh), it is we who will certainly win!"(44)
