പതിവ്രതകളും (ദുര്വൃത്തിയെപ്പറ്റി) ഓര്ക്കുക പോലും ചെയ്യാത്തവരുമായ സത്യവിശ്വാസിനികളെപ്പറ്റി ദുരാരോപണം നടത്തുന്നവരാരോ അവര് ഇഹത്തിലും പരത്തിലും ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; തീര്ച്ച. അവര്ക്ക് ഭയങ്കരമായ ശിക്ഷയുമുണ്ട്.(23)
(23) إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَرْمُونَ الْمُحْصَنَاتِ الْغَافِلَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ لُعِنُوا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ
Verily, those who accuse chaste women, who never even think of anything touching their chastity and are good believers, are cursed in this life and in the Hereafter, and for them will be a great torment,(23)
