ഞങ്ങള്ക്കും, മുമ്പ് ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കള്ക്കും ഈ വാഗ്ദാനം നല്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു. ഇത് പൂര്വ്വികന്മാരുടെ കെട്ടുകഥകള് മാത്രമാകുന്നു.(83)
(83) لَقَدْ وُعِدْنَا نَحْنُ وَآبَاؤُنَا هَٰذَا مِنْ قَبْلُ إِنْ هَٰذَا إِلَّا أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ
"Verily, this we have been promised, we and our fathers before (us)! This is only the tales of the ancients!"(83)
