തീര്‍ച്ചയായും സത്യത്തെ നിഷേധിക്കുകയും, അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ മാര്‍ഗത്തില്‍ നിന്നും, മനുഷ്യര്‍ക്ക്‌ -സ്ഥിരവാസിക്കും പരദേശിക്കും - സമാവകാശമുള്ളതായി നാം നിശ്ചയിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള മസ്ജിദുല്‍ ഹറാമില്‍ നിന്നും ജനങ്ങളെ തടഞ്ഞു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവരാരോ അവര്‍ (കരുതിയിരിക്കട്ടെ). അവിടെ വെച്ച്‌ വല്ലവനും അന്യായമായി ധര്‍മ്മവിരുദ്ധമായ വല്ലതും ചെയ്യാന്‍ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്ന പക്ഷം അവന്ന്‌ വേദനയേറിയ ശിക്ഷയില്‍ നിന്നും നാം ആസ്വദിപ്പിക്കുന്നതാണ്‌.(25)
(25) إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَيَصُدُّونَ عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَالْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ الَّذِي جَعَلْنَاهُ لِلنَّاسِ سَوَاءً الْعَاكِفُ فِيهِ وَالْبَادِ ۚ وَمَنْ يُرِدْ فِيهِ بِإِلْحَادٍ بِظُلْمٍ نُذِقْهُ مِنْ عَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ
Verily! Those who disbelieve and hinder (men) from the Path of Allah, and from Al-Masjid-al-Haram (at Makkah) which We have made (open) to (all) men, the dweller in it and the visitor from the country are equal there [as regards its sanctity and pilgrimage (Hajj and 'Umrah)]. And whoever inclines to evil actions therein or to do wrong (i.e. practise polytheism and leave Islamic Monotheism), him We shall cause to taste a painful torment.(25)
