അദ്ദേഹം (ദുല്ഖര്നൈന്) പറഞ്ഞു: ഇത് എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവിങ്കല് നിന്നുള്ള കാരുണ്യമത്രെ. എന്നാല് എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്റെ വാഗ്ദത്ത സമയം വന്നാല് അവന് അതിനെ തകര്ത്ത് നിരപ്പാക്കിക്കളയുന്നതാണ്. എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്റെ വാഗ്ദാനം യാഥാര്ത്ഥ്യമാകുന്നു.(98)
(98) قَالَ هَٰذَا رَحْمَةٌ مِنْ رَبِّي ۖ فَإِذَا جَاءَ وَعْدُ رَبِّي جَعَلَهُ دَكَّاءَ ۖ وَكَانَ وَعْدُ رَبِّي حَقًّا
Dhul-Qarnain) said: "This is a mercy from my Lord, but when the Promise of my Lord comes, He shall level it down to the ground. And the Promise of my Lord is ever true."(98)
