തുടര്ന്ന് അവര് രണ്ട് പേരും കപ്പലില് കയറിയപ്പോള് അദ്ദേഹം അത് ഓട്ടയാക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു. മൂസാ പറഞ്ഞു: അതിലുള്ളവരെ മുക്കിക്കളയുവാന് വേണ്ടി താങ്കളത് ഓട്ടയാക്കിയിരിക്കുകയാണോ? തീര്ച്ചയായും ഗുരുതരമായ ഒരു കാര്യം തന്നെയാണ് താങ്കള് ചെയ്തത്.(71)
(71) فَانْطَلَقَا حَتَّىٰ إِذَا رَكِبَا فِي السَّفِينَةِ خَرَقَهَا ۖ قَالَ أَخَرَقْتَهَا لِتُغْرِقَ أَهْلَهَا لَقَدْ جِئْتَ شَيْئًا إِمْرًا
So they both proceeded, till, when they embarked the ship, he (Khidr) scuttled it. Musa (Moses) said: "Have you scuttled it in order to drown its people? Verily, you have committed a thing "Imra" (a Munkar - evil, bad, dreadful thing)."(71)
