സന്തോഷവാര്ത്ത അറിയിക്കുന്നവരായിക്കൊണ്ടും, താക്കീത് നല്കുന്നവരായിക്കൊണ്ടും മാത്രമാണ് നാം ദൂതന്മാരെ നിയോഗിക്കുന്നത്. അവിശ്വസിച്ചവര് മിഥ്യാവാദവുമായി തര്ക്കിച്ച് കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; അത് മൂലം സത്യത്തെ തകര്ത്ത് കളയുവാന് വേണ്ടി. എന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങളെയും അവര്ക്ക് നല്കപ്പെട്ട താക്കീതുകളെയും അവര് പരിഹാസ്യമാക്കിത്തീര്ക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.(56)
(56) وَمَا نُرْسِلُ الْمُرْسَلِينَ إِلَّا مُبَشِّرِينَ وَمُنْذِرِينَ ۚ وَيُجَادِلُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِالْبَاطِلِ لِيُدْحِضُوا بِهِ الْحَقَّ ۖ وَاتَّخَذُوا آيَاتِي وَمَا أُنْذِرُوا هُزُوًا
And We send not the Messengers except as giver of glad tidings and warners. But those who disbelieve, dispute with false argument, in order to refute the truth thereby. And they treat My Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and that with which they are warned, as jest and mockery!(56)
