ഇസ്രായീല് സന്തതികള്ക്ക് ഇപ്രകാരം നാം വേദഗ്രന്ഥത്തില് വിധി നല്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു: തീര്ച്ചയായും നിങ്ങള് ഭൂമിയില് രണ്ട് പ്രാവശ്യം കുഴപ്പമുണ്ടാക്കുകയും വലിയ ഔന്നത്യം നടിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നതാണ്.(4)
(4) وَقَضَيْنَا إِلَىٰ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ فِي الْكِتَابِ لَتُفْسِدُنَّ فِي الْأَرْضِ مَرَّتَيْنِ وَلَتَعْلُنَّ عُلُوًّا كَبِيرًا
And We decreed for the Children of Israel in the Scripture, that indeed you would do mischief on the earth twice and you will become tyrants and extremely arrogant!(4)
