പിന്നീട്, നേര്വഴിയില് (വ്യതിചലിക്കാതെ) നിലകൊള്ളുന്നവനായിരുന്ന ഇബ്രാഹീമിന്റെ മാര്ഗത്തെ പിന്തുടരണം എന്ന് നിനക്ക് ഇതാ ബോധനം നല്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹം ബഹുദൈവവാദികളില് പെട്ടവനായിരുന്നില്ല.(123)
(123) ثُمَّ أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ أَنِ اتَّبِعْ مِلَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا ۖ وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ
Then, We have inspired you (O Muhammad SAW saying): "Follow the religion of Ibrahim (Abraham) Hanifa (Islamic Monotheism - to worship none but Allah) and he was not of the Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, disbelievers, etc.).(123)
