തീര്ച്ചയായും ഇബ്രാഹീം അല്ലാഹുവിന്ന് കീഴ്പെട്ട് ജീവിക്കുന്ന, നേര്വഴിയില് (വ്യതിചലിക്കാതെ) നിലകൊള്ളുന്ന ഒരു സമുദായം തന്നെയായിരുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹം ബഹുദൈവവാദികളില് പെട്ടവനായിരുന്നില്ല.(120)
(120) إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ كَانَ أُمَّةً قَانِتًا لِلَّهِ حَنِيفًا وَلَمْ يَكُ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ
Verily, Ibrahim (Abraham) was an Ummah (a leader having all the good righteous qualities), or a nation, obedient to Allah, Hanifa (i.e. to worship none but Allah), and he was not one of those who were Al-Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, and those who joined partners with Allah).(120)
