(നബിയേ,) നിന്നോട് അവര് നന്മയേക്കാള് മുമ്പായി തിന്മയ്ക്ക് (ശിക്ഷയ്ക്ക്) വേണ്ടി തിടുക്കം കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. അവരുടെ മുമ്പ് മാതൃകാപരമായ ശിക്ഷകള് കഴിഞ്ഞുപോയിട്ടുണ്ട് താനും. തീര്ച്ചയായും, നിന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് മനുഷ്യര് അക്രമം പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചിട്ടുകൂടി അവര്ക്ക് പാപമോചനം നല്കുന്നവനത്രെ, തീര്ച്ചയായും നിന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് കഠിനമായി ശിക്ഷിക്കുന്നവനുമാണ്.(6)
(6) وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِالسَّيِّئَةِ قَبْلَ الْحَسَنَةِ وَقَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمُ الْمَثُلَاتُ ۗ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُو مَغْفِرَةٍ لِلنَّاسِ عَلَىٰ ظُلْمِهِمْ ۖ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَشَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ
They ask you to hasten the evil before the good, yet (many) exemplary punishments have indeed occurred before them. But verily, your Lord is full of Forgiveness for mankind inspite of their wrong-doing. And verily, your Lord is (also) Severe in punishment.(6)
