നമ്മുടെ ദൂതന്മാര് ഇബ്രാഹീമിന്റെ അടുത്ത് സന്തോഷവാര്ത്തയും കൊണ്ട് വരികയുണ്ടായി. അവര് പറഞ്ഞു: സലാം. അദ്ദേഹം പ്രതിവചിച്ചു. സലാം വൈകിയില്ല. അദ്ദേഹം ഒരു പൊരിച്ച മൂരിക്കുട്ടിയെ കൊണ്ട് വന്നു.(69)
(69) وَلَقَدْ جَاءَتْ رُسُلُنَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ بِالْبُشْرَىٰ قَالُوا سَلَامًا ۖ قَالَ سَلَامٌ ۖ فَمَا لَبِثَ أَنْ جَاءَ بِعِجْلٍ حَنِيذٍ
And verily, there came Our Messengers to Ibrahim (Abraham) with glad tidings. They said: Salam (greetings or peace!) He answered, Salam (greetings or peace!) and he hastened to entertain them with a roasted calf.(69)
