അദ്ദേഹം (പിതാവ്) പറഞ്ഞു: അല്ല, നിങ്ങളുടെ മനസ്സുകള് നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് എന്തോകാര്യം ഭംഗിയായി തോന്നിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. അതിനാല് നന്നായി ക്ഷമിക്കുക തന്നെ. അവരെല്ലാവരെയും അല്ലാഹു എന്റെ അടുത്ത് കൊണ്ടുവന്നു തന്നേക്കാവുന്നതാണ്. തീര്ച്ചയായും അവന് എല്ലാം അറിയുന്നവനും യുക്തിമാനുമാകുന്നു.(83)
(83) قَالَ بَلْ سَوَّلَتْ لَكُمْ أَنْفُسُكُمْ أَمْرًا ۖ فَصَبْرٌ جَمِيلٌ ۖ عَسَى اللَّهُ أَنْ يَأْتِيَنِي بِهِمْ جَمِيعًا ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْعَلِيمُ الْحَكِيمُ
He [Ya'qub (Jacob)] said: "Nay, but your ownselves have beguiled you into something. So patience is most fitting (for me). May be Allah will bring them (back) all to me. Truly He! only He is All-Knowing, All-Wise."(83)
