തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നാം തന്നെയാണ്‌ തൌറാത്ത്‌ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്‌. അതില്‍ മാര്‍ഗദര്‍ശനവും പ്രകാശവുമുണ്ട്‌. (അല്ലാഹുവിന്‌) കീഴ്പെട്ട പ്രവാചകന്‍മാര്‍ യഹൂദമതക്കാര്‍ക്ക്‌ അതിനനുസരിച്ച്‌ വിധികല്‍പിച്ച്‌ പോന്നു. പുണ്യവാന്‍മാരും പണ്ഡിതന്‍മാരും (അതേ പ്രകാരം തന്നെ വിധികല്‍പിച്ചിരുന്നു.) കാരണം അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ ഗ്രന്ഥത്തിന്‍റെ സംരക്ഷണം അവര്‍ക്ക്‌ ഏല്‍പിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു. അവരതിന്‌ സാക്ഷികളുമായിരുന്നു. അതിനാല്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ ജനങ്ങളെ പേടിക്കാതെ എന്നെ മാത്രം ഭയപ്പെടുക. എന്‍റെ വചനങ്ങള്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ തുച്ഛമായ വിലയ്ക്ക്‌ വിറ്റുകളയാതിരിക്കുക. അല്ലാഹു അവതരിപ്പിച്ച്‌ തന്നതനുസരിച്ച്‌ ആര്‍ വിധിക്കുന്നില്ലയോ അവര്‍ തന്നെയാകുന്നു അവിശ്വാസികള്‍ .(44)
(44) إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَا التَّوْرَاةَ فِيهَا هُدًى وَنُورٌ ۚ يَحْكُمُ بِهَا النَّبِيُّونَ الَّذِينَ أَسْلَمُوا لِلَّذِينَ هَادُوا وَالرَّبَّانِيُّونَ وَالْأَحْبَارُ بِمَا اسْتُحْفِظُوا مِنْ كِتَابِ اللَّهِ وَكَانُوا عَلَيْهِ شُهَدَاءَ ۚ فَلَا تَخْشَوُا النَّاسَ وَاخْشَوْنِ وَلَا تَشْتَرُوا بِآيَاتِي ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا ۚ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَحْكُمْ بِمَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْكَافِرُونَ
Verily, We did send down the Taurat (Torah) [to Musa (Moses)], therein was guidance and light, by which the Prophets, who submitted themselves to Allah's Will, judged the Jews. And the rabbis and the priests [too judged the Jews by the Taurat (Torah) after those Prophets] for to them was entrusted the protection of Allah's Book, and they were witnesses thereto. Therefore fear not men but fear Me (O Jews) and sell not My Verses for a miserable price. And whosoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed, such are the Kafirun (i.e. disbelievers - of a lesser degree as they do not act on Allah's Laws).(44)
