(നബിയേ,) നൂഹിനും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ശേഷമുള്ള പ്രവാചകന്മാര്ക്കും നാം സന്ദേശം നല്കിയത് പോലെ തന്നെ നിനക്കും നാം സന്ദേശം നല്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു. ഇബ്രാഹീം, ഇസ്മാഈല്, ഇഷാഖ്, യഅ്ഖൂബ്. യഅ്ഖൂബ് സന്തതികള്, ഈസാ, അയ്യൂബ്, യൂനുസ്, ഹാറൂന്, സുലൈമാന് എന്നിവര്ക്കും നാം സന്ദേശം നല്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു. ദാവൂദിന് നാം സബൂര് (സങ്കീര്ത്തനം) നല്കി.(163)
(163) ۞ إِنَّا أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ كَمَا أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَىٰ نُوحٍ وَالنَّبِيِّينَ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ ۚ وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَاقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَالْأَسْبَاطِ وَعِيسَىٰ وَأَيُّوبَ وَيُونُسَ وَهَارُونَ وَسُلَيْمَانَ ۚ وَآتَيْنَا دَاوُودَ زَبُورًا
Verily, We have inspired you (O Muhammad SAW) as We inspired Nuh (Noah) and the Prophets after him; We (also) inspired Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaque (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and Al-Asbat [the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], 'Iesa (Jesus), Ayub (Job), Yunus (Jonah), Harun (Aaron), and Sulaiman (Solomon), and to Dawud (David) We gave the Zabur (Psalms).(163)
