അവരുടെ (മുഹാജിറുകളുടെ) വരവിനു മുമ്പായി വാസസ്ഥലവും വിശ്വാസവും സ്വീകരിച്ചുവെച്ചവര്‍ക്കും (അന്‍സാറുകള്‍ക്ക്‌). തങ്ങളുടെ അടുത്തേക്ക്‌ സ്വദേശം വെടിഞ്ഞു വന്നവരെ അവര്‍ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു. അവര്‍ക്ക്‌ (മുഹാജിറുകള്‍ക്ക്‌) നല്‍കപ്പെട്ട ധനം സംബന്ധിച്ചു തങ്ങളുടെ മനസ്സുകളില്‍ ഒരു ആവശ്യവും അവര്‍ (അന്‍സാറുകള്‍) കണ്ടെത്തുന്നുമില്ല. തങ്ങള്‍ക്ക്‌ ദാരിദ്യ്‌രമുണ്ടായാല്‍ പോലും സ്വദേഹങ്ങളെക്കാള്‍ മറ്റുള്ളവര്‍ക്ക്‌ അവര്‍ പ്രാധാന്യം നല്‍കുകയും ചെയ്യും. ഏതൊരാള്‍ തന്‍റെ മനസ്സിന്‍റെ പിശുക്കില്‍ നിന്ന്‌ കാത്തുരക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്നുവോ അത്തരക്കാര്‍ തന്നെയാകുന്നു വിജയം പ്രാപിച്ചവര്‍.(9)
(9) وَالَّذِينَ تَبَوَّءُوا الدَّارَ وَالْإِيمَانَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ يُحِبُّونَ مَنْ هَاجَرَ إِلَيْهِمْ وَلَا يَجِدُونَ فِي صُدُورِهِمْ حَاجَةً مِمَّا أُوتُوا وَيُؤْثِرُونَ عَلَىٰ أَنْفُسِهِمْ وَلَوْ كَانَ بِهِمْ خَصَاصَةٌ ۚ وَمَنْ يُوقَ شُحَّ نَفْسِهِ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ
And those who, before them, had homes (in Al-Madinah) and had adopted the Faith, love those who emigrate to them, and have no jealousy in their breasts for that which they have been given (from the booty of Bani An-Nadir), and give them (emigrants) preference over themselves, even though they were in need of that. And whosoever is saved from his own covetousness, such are they who will be the successful.(9)
