ആ മതിലാണെങ്കിലോ, അത്‌ ആ പട്ടണത്തിലെ അനാഥരായ രണ്ട്‌ ബാലന്‍മാരുടെതായിരുന്നു. അതിനു ചുവട്ടില്‍ അവര്‍ക്കായുള്ള ഒരു നിധിയുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അവരുടെ പിതാവ്‌ ഒരു നല്ല മനുഷ്യനായിരുന്നു. അതിനാല്‍ അവര്‍ ഇരുവരും യൌവ്വനം പ്രാപിക്കുകയും, എന്നിട്ടവരുടെ നിധി പുറത്തെടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്യണമെന്ന്‌ താങ്കളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവ്‌ ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചു താങ്കളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്‍റെ കാരുണ്യം എന്ന നിലയിലത്രെ അത്‌. അതൊന്നും എന്‍റെ അഭിപ്രയപ്രകാരമല്ല ഞാന്‍ ചെയ്തത്‌. താങ്കള്‍ക്ക്‌ ഏത്‌ കാര്യത്തില്‍ ക്ഷമിക്കാന്‍ കഴിയാതിരുന്നുവോ അതിന്‍റെ പൊരുളാകുന്നു അത്‌.(82)
(82) وَأَمَّا الْجِدَارُ فَكَانَ لِغُلَامَيْنِ يَتِيمَيْنِ فِي الْمَدِينَةِ وَكَانَ تَحْتَهُ كَنْزٌ لَهُمَا وَكَانَ أَبُوهُمَا صَالِحًا فَأَرَادَ رَبُّكَ أَنْ يَبْلُغَا أَشُدَّهُمَا وَيَسْتَخْرِجَا كَنْزَهُمَا رَحْمَةً مِنْ رَبِّكَ ۚ وَمَا فَعَلْتُهُ عَنْ أَمْرِي ۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَأْوِيلُ مَا لَمْ تَسْطِعْ عَلَيْهِ صَبْرًا
"And as for the wall, it belonged to two orphan boys in the town; and there was under it a treasure belonging to them; and their father was a righteous man, and your Lord intended that they should attain their age of full strength and take out their treasure as a mercy from your Lord. And I did it not of my own accord. That is the interpretation of those (things) over which you could not hold patience."(82)
