നാം മലക്കുകളോട് നിങ്ങള് ആദമിന് പ്രണാമം ചെയ്യുക എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ സന്ദര്ഭം (ശ്രദ്ധേയമത്രെ.) അവര് പ്രണാമം ചെയ്തു. ഇബ്ലീസ് ഒഴികെ. അവന് ജിന്നുകളില് പെട്ടവനായിരുന്നു. അങ്ങനെ തന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്റെ കല്പന അവന് ധിക്കരിച്ചു. എന്നിരിക്കെ നിങ്ങള് എന്നെ വിട്ട് അവനെയും അവന്റെ സന്തതികളെയും രക്ഷാധികാരികളാക്കുകയാണോ? അവര് നിങ്ങളുടെ ശത്രുക്കളത്രെ. അക്രമികള്ക്ക് (അല്ലാഹുവിന്) പകരം കിട്ടിയത് വളരെ ചീത്ത തന്നെ.(50)
(50) وَإِذْ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ اسْجُدُوا لِآدَمَ فَسَجَدُوا إِلَّا إِبْلِيسَ كَانَ مِنَ الْجِنِّ فَفَسَقَ عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِ ۗ أَفَتَتَّخِذُونَهُ وَذُرِّيَّتَهُ أَوْلِيَاءَ مِنْ دُونِي وَهُمْ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ ۚ بِئْسَ لِلظَّالِمِينَ بَدَلًا
And (remember) when We said to the angels; "Prostrate to Adam." So they prostrated except Iblis (Satan). He was one of the jinns; he disobeyed the Command of his Lord. Will you then take him (Iblis) and his offspring as protectors and helpers rather than Me while they are enemies to you? What an evil is the exchange for the Zalimun (polytheists, and wrong-doers, etc).(50)
