അവന് (അല്ലാഹു) പറഞ്ഞു: നൂഹേ, തീര്ച്ചയായും അവന് നിന്റെ കുടുംബത്തില് പെട്ടവനല്ല. തീര്ച്ചയായും അവന് ശരിയല്ലാത്തത് ചെയ്തവനാണ്. അതിനാല് നിനക്ക് അറിവില്ലാത്ത കാര്യം എന്നോട് ആവശ്യപ്പെടരുത്. നീ വിവരമില്ലാത്തവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിലായിപോകരുതെന്ന് ഞാന് നിന്നോട് ഉപദേശിക്കുകയാണ്.(46)
(46) قَالَ يَا نُوحُ إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ مِنْ أَهْلِكَ ۖ إِنَّهُ عَمَلٌ غَيْرُ صَالِحٍ ۖ فَلَا تَسْأَلْنِ مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِ عِلْمٌ ۖ إِنِّي أَعِظُكَ أَنْ تَكُونَ مِنَ الْجَاهِلِينَ
He said: "O Nuh (Noah)! Surely, he is not of your family; verily, his work is unrighteous, so ask not of Me that of which you have no knowledge! I admonish you, lest you be one of the ignorants."(46)
